Dr. Lee Pace is an orthopedic surgeon at Children’s Health Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, specializing in minimally invasive procedures and complex reconstructive surgery for sports-related injuries. His expertise includes patellofemoral care, meniscus transplantation, and advanced cartilage and ligament reconstruction, as well as comprehensive surgical and non-surgical treatment of the shoulder, knee, and hip.

As fellowship director for the Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship, Dr. Pace is dedicated to education, research, and advancing the field of sports medicine. His academic work includes more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and over 200 scientific presentations worldwide. He has received recognition as a Super Doctor, Rising Star, and Top Doctor, and is a founding member and steering committee chair of the international MERCuRE Study Group, focused on meniscus preservation and replacement. His current research interests include trochlear dysplasia and surgical outcomes in complex knee reconstruction.

Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Pace enjoys time with his wife and children, spending time outdoors, skiing and snowboarding, traveling to national parks, and taking part in family activities.
