Jutta Ellermann, MD

Dr. Jutta Ellermann is a board-certified musculoskeletal radiologist and Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She specializes in musculoskeletal imaging with clinical interests in bone and soft tissue tumors, cartilage imaging, and advanced MRI techniques.

A graduate of Humboldt University of Berlin–Charité Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ellermann completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Minnesota, where she also pursued fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging. Her research focuses on knee osteoarthritis, osteochondritis dissecans lesions, meniscus degeneration, and imaging of the young adult hip. Her work has been widely published in leading journals, including The American Journal of Sports Medicine and Radiology Advances.

Dr. Ellermann is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Radiology (FACR) and has been consistently named a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly and Minnesota Monthly.
