Dr. Peter Fabricant is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and trauma surgery of the knee, shoulder, elbow, and ankle. He is known for his expertise in caring for children and adolescents with sports-related injuries and fractures, with a focus on helping young athletes return safely to activity while protecting their long-term health.
Dr. Fabricant completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester and earned his medical degree from Yale University. During his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery, he also obtained a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and received multiple awards for excellence in patient care and safety innovation. He went on to complete dual fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and in sports medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he gained advanced subspecialty training under leading experts in the field.
