Dr. Crystal Perkins is a board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports and traumatic injuries in children, adolescents, and young adults. She provides expert care for conditions of the hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, and elbow, with a focus on restoring function and supporting long-term mobility.
An Atlanta native, Dr. Perkins trained in orthopedic surgery at Carolinas Medical Center before completing her pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she now serves as Medical Director for Orthopaedic Quality and Outcomes. In this role, she is dedicated to advancing patient care through quality improvement and outcomes research. She participates in several multicenter study groups, has published extensively, and also serves as a consulting associate for the Duke University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Perkins is an avid triathlete and enjoys time with her family and exploring the Atlanta food scene.
